Tom Ebro's experience includes aquatic programming at more than 50 regional public swimming pools (including lakes and beaches) for Los Angeles County. He served as Administrator of SCUBA certification standards and safety legislation, and oversaw aquatic education programs, safety training, and public relations dealing with the media and aquatics industries.
For 10 years he served as LA County Medical Examiner's Deputy Coroner and Aquatics Accident Invetigator under Chief Medical Examiner Dr. Thomas Noguchi. He was responsible for forensic investigation of aquatic fatalities and testifying in coroner inquests.
